So by now everyone should know who Banksy is right? We've all, if not seen his work around the major parts of the globe, at least see his work all over the internet or even the news on occasion. Well having the fame and credibility that Banksy has you would think that he would at least know how we doing things in the graff world. Apparently he doesn't. Not too long ago Banksy decided to destroy a piece done by Robbo in 1985! Now this was a piece that has lasted longer than most graffiti writers lives. How it lasted this long is a mystery to me but that fact is it did. And then Banksy came and thought that this historical landmark would be a great way to promote his work. By covering up more than half of the piece and make some"statement" about graffiti art. Big mistake in my book. Respect your elders and know how your covering. NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE! This really makes me want to rethink how I feel about Banksy and his work.
